Demon List VN Cup 2025 - Knockout Stage

Eligibility

• Only the Top 16 players from the Qualifier Round may enter the Knockout Stage.

Tournament Format

• The Knockout Stage follows a Single-Elimination format.
• Each match is played as a Best of 3.

Match Format

• Players will be informed of the level pool (2 Insane Demons, 2 Hard Demons, 2 Medium Demons).
• After 10 minutes of preparation, the ban-pick phase begins.
• A coin toss determines who bans first.
• Players take turns banning levels until only 3 remain (one from each difficulty).
• Then:
  • Player A picks the first level.
  • Player B picks the second level.
  • The remaining level will be the tiebreaker if needed.

Match Rules

• Each round includes a 15-minute break before the next.
• Outside of match time, players may not open Geometry Dash.
• The entire match process must be livestreamed, from level announcement to match end.
  • Livestream via screen share or camera pointed at the screen.
  • Players are encouraged to turn on face cam if possible.
• Cheating is strictly prohibited:
  • Any form of cheating results in instant disqualification.
  • Using a secret way (except coin routes) will void the run and require a replay via the main route.
• Players may use Pointercrate-approved hacks, including Click Between Frames (CBF).
• If a player has already beaten a level in the pool:
  • They must rebeat it.
  • If they've only played it without beating, they may continue normally.

Rematches

Rematches may occur in the Knockout Stage only if one of the following is met:

• Player experiences lag during gameplay or livestream.
• The level has a bug that affects playability.
• The player requests a schedule change for personal reasons, and organizers approve.

In a rematch:

• Organizers will notify both players and adjust the match time accordingly.
• A new level pool (not the original) will be used.

Note: If using a camera to stream, ensure the screen is clearly visible and the angle is not tilted over 45°.

Prizes

20% of all Supporter revenue during the event forms the Prize Pool.

• Champion: 50% of Prize Pool + 1 Year Supporter + DLVN Cup 2025 Gold Medal
• Runner-Up: 35% of Prize Pool + DLVN Cup 2025 Silver Medal
• Third Place: 15% of Prize Pool + DLVN Cup 2025 Bronze Medal
